Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
6 hours in house training.
The standard course to equip staff with the skills for dealing with an emergency situation involving adults. Course content includes:
- Roles and Responsibilities
- First aid kits
- Cross infection
- Scene Survey & Primary Survey
- Unconscious casualty
- CPR & Defibrillation
- Choking
- Seizures
- Bleeding and shock
- Burns
- Minor injuries
Emergency First Aid At Work Blended (3 hours in house + online module)

Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Blended -
3 hours in house training plus online module
Perfect if there are time constraints making 6 hours training in house impractical.
3 hours of training face to face plus an online module to complete to cover the remaining 3 hours.
Course content is the same as the standard EFAW 6 hour course.
First Aid At Work (FAW)

Level 3 First Aid at Work (3 days)

This course is delivered over 3 days in class.
Course content is as per EFAW with the additional elements:
- Injuries to bones, muscles and joints
- Head and neck injury
- Spinal Injuries
- Chest injuries
- Burns and scalds
- Eye injury
- Poisoning
- Anaphylaxis
- Major illnesses including heart attacks, stroke, epilepsy, diabetes and asthma.
Level 3 First Aid at Work (2 days)

This course is delivered over 2 days in class plus an online module
Course content is as per EFAW with the additional elements:
- Injuries to bones, muscles and joints
- Head and neck injury
- Spinal Injuries
- Chest injuries

For First Aid at Work qualified staff to requalify for a further 3 years
Level 3 First Aid at Work requalification (2 days in house)

This course is delivered over 2 days in class
This 12 hour course is the refresher course for staff members who hold the First Aid Work qualification who are approaching or have reached the expiry of their last 3 year course.
Course content is as per the regular FAW course.
Level 3 First Aid at Work requalification (Blended)

This course is delivered with 1 day training in house (6 hours) plus an online module to cover the remaining 6 hours.
